1996: As a young father of three, Stéphane
Charlebois realized the incredible volume of garbage his family was generating. He
noticed that most of this garbage was made up of items that could be recycled. An electro
mechanic by trade and a handyman, Charlebois set out to find a solution.
The idea of the RecyctouTM was
thus born.
2001: Following a televised show on patents, Charlebois asked for more
information on how to go about making his new idea a reality and built the first prototype.
2003: A first patent from the USPTO was granted
2005: Mr. Charlebois developed the first concept and the first business
plan on the RecyctouTM
2007:
Writing of the first business plan and total concept
First time meeting with Van Khieu, P. Eng.,
M.Sc. (Vice-President Operations)
Validation of the RecyctouTM’s
conception.
Incorporation of Versun Inc. by three partners
2008: Build the first RecyctouTM prototype dedicated to the residential market.
2009 : First prototype presentation at
the Montreal City and Suburbs Show and a visit to the Salon Americana 2009 de Montréal
www.versun.ca becomes available on-line.
2010 : Official deposit of
patents in different countries.
2011 : Prepared to explore and develop the different concept and prototypes dedicated this time to the commercial and industrial market.

: M. Luc Clouâtre, is now assigned as the general manager and business development for the company.
